A weather call was made on Friday 23 April to postpone the run from its scheduled time on Saturday to Sunday due to an ever increasing rainy nasty weather forecast for both Friday and Saturday. Welcome to Colorado folks, if ya don't like the weather; just wait around cuz in 5 minutes it can change for the good or the bad. Always a reminder to bring your snivel gear on any ride in this great state of ours. Anyways, Sunday ended up being a very nice day to get and out and ride and share some brotherhood in the saddle. All in all, 62 bikes showed for the run, which started at "American Bike Tailor" off of Hancock Expressway and South Academy Blvd at 0900 hrs. Hot coffee and Danish were served as breakfast appetizers while everyone threw their first round of darts. VFW Warrior members Beef and Roberto Dirte’ were in charge of this stop. Most of the bikes were up and out onto the next stop at around 1000 AM. Many thanks to James at “American Bike Tailor” for opening up his shop on a Sunday, which is normally a day he is closed as he tries to relax from his busy work schedule. James is about to get a DYNO so we can all get our scooters tuned up and race ready, heh heh heh! So be on the lookout for that!
