2009 VFW Warriors Turkey Shoot

Many thanks to all who braved the crappy weather to come out and join us at Dragon Man's Shooting Range for our first VFW-W shooting competition!  Despite the weather we had a couple of great hours of range time and some friendly competition with pistols and shotguns.  The competitors fired ten rounds with pistols from at 25 meters at a relatively small bullseye target, and three shotguns rounds at a turkey silouette at the same distance.  Most shooters found it challenging, just ask Renegade, who won the "Needs Improvement" certificate!  Here are the rankings:

Best Pistol:        Steve
Best Shotgun:    Paul

Thanks to Stubbs as the safety officer and Lew (aka JD) who loaned us his shotgun, and Rocky who made the certificates and gathered the swag.  We also would like to thank Mel and Sherry at Dragon Man's Range for providing the private area for us to conduct this event.  See you at the next one!
